Kitchari Recipe

Kitchari is a traditional Ayurvedic dish made from basmati rice, mung beans, herbs and spices that aid in digestion, and cooked veggies. When taken as part of a cleanse, it supports detoxification but can be enjoyed as a warm, nourishing meal that is good for all doshas. There are as many versions of this recipe as there are cooks, so feel free to adjust the spices to make it your own.
